Easy Dutch Vanilla Custard & Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 65g Koopmans Custard
- 65g sugar
- (For a thinner sauce/Vla, use only 35g custard)
Preparation
- Paste: Mix custard powder and sugar in a bowl. Stir in 6 tbsp of the milk to create a smooth paste.
- Boil: Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a saucepan.
- Thicken: Whisk the custard paste into the boiling milk constantly.
- Simmer: Keep stirring and let it simmer gently for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
- Set: Pour into a bowl or pudding mold.
- Cool: Cover with plastic wrap (touching the surface) and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
